Good morning everyone!
A few last-minute notes for you all before I head to Arkansas for a couple of weeks:
SPRING MIXER AND SPRING CLUB MEETING
There is still time to sign up for the Mixer on May 15. The 8:00 session is full, but there is room in the 11:00 session.
The annual LPC meeting will be held between sessions. Please try to attend!
WEAR YOUR NAME TAG!
We have more than 100 new members so far this year and it’s going to take some time for us to all get to know one another. PLEASE WEAR YOUR NAME TAG! That tells us that you are a member of the LPC and helps everyone learn the names of their new friends. Log into the website and print your name tag from there. We have plastic holders available if you need one.
PARKS DEPARTMENT SUMMER LEAGUES

CODE OF CONDUCT
Congratulations to all for completing another interesting winter off-season. As we begin the new summer season, I would just like to remind everyone why we play this great game. We’re all out here to have fun! So remember the Code of Conduct that we’ve all agreed to:
The mission of the LPC is to promote the growth and development of pickleball. This sport will succeed best if its players embrace the values of good sportsmanship. It is essential that LPC members, in promoting this mission, model good behavior, lead by example, display respect and show self-control.
· I will treat others with respect and exhibit fairness and honesty in my dealings with others.
· I will be a positive influence on members and others to encourage teamwork and fair play.
· I will be respectful of those players on the court and avoid unnecessary interruptions by non-players.
· I will accept responsibility for guests and family members in attendance at events.
· I will not engage in any behavior that would endanger the health, safety or well-being of others.
· I will not engage in the use of profanity on the court or near court areas.
· I will not engage in unacceptable behavior, arguing, threatening, or otherwise unsportsmanlike conduct or encourage others to do so.
· I will not engage in physical abuse, threats or harassment.
· I will not criticize my partner, referees, or other members and fault them for their mistakes.
See you on the courts!
