Good afternoon everyone!

The annual LPC Tournament was held this past weekend and was a great success! Mark Henry and his team did a super job with all aspects of the tournament and I believe everyone had a great time. Thanks to everyone who volunteered and helped with set up, check in, score keeping and clean up. Running an event with 200+ participants is no easy task and requires a lot of hands.

I’m pleased to announce that effective immediately, the LPC will be changing our membership structure to a 12-month membership. What that means is that your membership is good for a full twelve months from the date you joined or renewed, rather than expiring on December 31.

Members will receive a renewal notice prior to the end of their membership term. No need to do anything prior to receiving your renewal notice.

The end of the 2021 outdoor season is quickly approaching. We have the current schedule of reserved courts through September 30. Beginning October 1, we only have courts reserved at Osborn. We have all six Osborn courts reserved from 9-11am, Monday though Friday until October 15. October 15 will be the end of our season.

A few reminders as we head into the off-season:

  • We still have plenty of Franklin X-40 balls in stock. Sandy Thayer and I always carry a supply with us to the courts. Still $10 for a bag of five.
  • If you make a purchase from Pickleball Central use your LPC club discount code. CRLoveland That code saves you 5% and the Club receives a matching credit from PBC.
  • I still have a set of Selkirk demo paddles from Jason Aerni. Let me know if you’d like to try out one of these paddles.

Many local players use an app called PlayTime Scheduler to help find a place to play during the off-season. For those of you that might not have used PTS in the past, here is the information from Markk Pugh on how to get onto PTS:

  1. Go to
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Press or click on [Register]
  4. State - Colorado
  5. Region - LOV, BTH WIN GRE ETN
  6. Answer the New User Registration questions
  7. Press or click on [Register] and you should be done.

See you on the courts!
